Coolidge Power LLC is a wholly owned entity of TransCanada. Coolidge Power LLC is developing a 575 MW gas fired simple cycle peaking electric generating facility in Coolidge, Arizona. The project was approved by the ACC in December 2008, started construction in August 2009, and is still scheduled to be in operation May 2011. Under a 20 year power purchase agreement, Coolidge Power LLC will generate electricity as required by its exclusive client, Salt River Project (SRP).
